Working in Charlotte
Rock Hill is about 25 miles south of Charlotte. Ballantyne, the 2,000-acre development along the South Carolina border that started in 1992, is closer to us than it is to uptown, and South Charlotte and Pineville are the areas we reach fastest.
Permits and inspections across Mecklenburg County, including the City of Charlotte and the six towns, are handled by Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement rather than by the city. A permit is required to install, extend, alter or repair an electrical system. We hold a North Carolina license, 27147-U, so we pull the permit as the contractor and schedule the inspection.
Ballantyne and the neighbourhoods around it were developed from the early 1990s, so many homes there are now approaching thirty years old. That is the age when panels run out of space, fans and fixtures get replaced, and kitchens and bathrooms get remodelled. Send a photo of the panel with the form and we can usually tell you what you are looking at before we come out.
